Our very low ratio children can only maximize the benefits in your child's education. Your child can anticipate many years of happy learning thanks to a good foundation and an inner confidence that comes from fully understanding what's been taught. Children guided properly in their early age foster a great love of learning and discovering.
Conferences will be conducted on a regular basis to share the progress of your child. Quarterly progress reports are provided.
Parents must send a nutritious meal from home. Healthy snacks will be provided.
We believe in positive reinforcement of good behavior and the teaching of self discipline. However should a child be disruptive to the rest of the group, he or she will be asked to change the negative behavior to a productive one. A change of activity will be suggested.
If the child persists in his/her action, he/she will be invited to take some time out to observe his peers' productive behavior and decide to come back to the group's activity when he/she is ready to join in. Disruptive behavior will be discussed with the parents in all cases.
If a child is in need of immediate medical attention, 911 will be called. Parent will always be notified immediately. All emergencies will be recorded. Please keep emergency contact information form up to date.
Mrs. Payan Family Child Care will follow the official Dade County Public School calendar including legal holidays, vacations and teacher planning days. Some adjustments may be made during the summer.
